Interestingly enough, most Hindus I know claim that despite there being over 330 MILLION documented deities -- Hinduism is monotheistic.

This is because all are viewed to be avatars of Brahma, not distinct beings.

Christianity isnt' the only religion with this concept, so why harp on it?

Actually the idea that Hinduism is Polytheistic is a misnomer as in fact all those Gods are regarded as being aspects of one higher God, Brahma, just as the Sephiroth are regarded as emanations of God in Jewish Kaballah and, as you say, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all aspects of the One God.

The difference is that in India most worshippers focus on one of the aspects rather than on all of them. So you have worshippers of Shiva or Kali or Vishnu when in fact, properly understood, you should be worshipping all of them as part of the One.

In the West its rare to find anyone only worshipping the Holy Spirit or Christ alone. In Christianity you're supposed to worship them all as One.

Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma are not the same deity they are three extremely different deities, and many Hindus only pray to a particular one their entire lives. On the other hand the Holy Trinity is ONE God, with three parts. No Christians( to the best of my knowledge) specifically worship only one or two parts, but rather the whole package.

Christianity is a monotheistic faith. rather, Christians could prefer to be worshipping in undemanding words one real God without better half. The term trinity is made up and does not make adventure. How can 3=a million, human beings are basically forced to have self assurance this term yet as quickly as you somewhat think approximately on it, it has no which ability. somewhat, human beings create new regulations to larger healthy their lust and placed the blame on God for what their very own hand did.

Hinduism has thousands of gods; but these are claimed to be separate gods with separate personalities.
The trinity (tri-unity) of the One God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, are three manifestations of the same one God. They think alike, they act alike, speak alike, and they never contradict each other. They are One.

Our belief in ONE God. One God in Three Divine Persons. It's a supernatural mystery. You have to have faith to understand.
