Yes i do, and I also cuss them out, and they usually hang up on me so I call them back

Yeah, Get on the government do not call list. There is a website you can go to. It takes a little bit for it to work, but eventually they stop calling.
Another thing you can do is tell the telemarketer that they just missed the person they were calling for, when they ask when that person will be back, say "well, we just buried him/her"
It works everytime!!

I think it's fun to toy with them. I like to lead them on in thinking their going to make a sale. Talk like a retarded person and try to keep them on the line for as long as you can. Ask how much it will cost for what ever it is their offering and then pretend like your trying to count how much money you have in your piggy bank while their on the line. Count pennies and nickles out loud and screw up a few times so it takes longer. Ask how your going to get all those pennies and nickles to them, and act like you don't have a bank account or any credit cards.
When you get really good at this ruse, record it to play for your friends. They'll get a big kick out of it. I know some people who have even sold their recordings and made thousands of dollars making comedy records of their exploits of telemarketers.
You can always answer your phone like this too. "Hello, you've reached the control center. please dial the extension your trying to reach, or your pass code at this time" Then wait very quietly for 30 seconds and say, "No response was detected, Please try your call again" and hang up.

No, that's just rude. They are, after all, trying to make a living just like you. Just hang up, or like the others suggested, get yourself on the "do not call" list. But if you want to have a little fun, tell them that you're a little busy and can't talk right now, would they please give you their HOME phone# and you'll call them back later. :o

I don't necessarily yell, but I do use a lot of cuss words and hang up on them. The more times they call, the more cuss words I use.

no, that's not cool. I usually just listen to all of the bull sh*t they say and then say a bunch of crazy and highly humorous things and even try to have sexual conversations with them. I harrass them untill they hang up. it's not like a prank call becuase they called and started harrassing me. What are they going to do if i ask them about there boob/dick size and other personal ?s

It seems a bit cruel. They are just trying to earn a living. I usually hang up without saying anything. They are invading my home wihtout my permission so by not responding it is like not inviting them in.
