Only two of his original crew are left now. Is that a good thing for him?

Sorry, I meant only two of his crew retained their original jobs. Only 3 were actually replaced.

This kid has a real problem. As far as he's concerned, it's everyone's fault but his. Firing everyone but the catch can man sure isn't going to help any. He needs to quit whining and start driving.

I think it's too soon to tell. I personally hope that it backfires on him.

Regardless of how it turns out, what Hamlin did was dead wrong. He is not nearly accomplished enough as a driver to publicly slam his crew the way that he did. Especially when he's guilty of screwing up on the track.

I think the reason that they shook up his crew so much is because they're trying to protect Hamlin. I think that they were afraid that his crew would purposely sabotage his chances at winning due to the way that he treated them. If the crew was indeed that bad, they'd have never been working for an established organization like Gibbs in the first place.

That is a good thing. That pit crew gave away 2 races for Denny. Something had to give...especially last week's race. That was certainly the crews fault.

We will have to wait and see. If nothing else it should light a fire under the rest of his team. This will either rally them or set them back but I think it was a good move. He should of had at least 2 wins this year but for his pit crew screwing up. An isolated incident is one thing but NASCAR has put too high a premium on wins to tolerate lackluster pit stops.

Yes.Some times one or two errors can ruin a day in this case it could have(and did) cost a race.So to replace 2 or 3 personel could have a major change on the out come of a race.

I think the overhaul was a mistake. His crew has not really been all that bad. I think the mistake by the front tire changer will just make him ( the tire changer) better.
