Would you believe that I was discussing this with a friend only the other day. I had noticed that both my cats show a preference for using their left paw and my friend's cats do too, so I looked it up on the internet.
In studies carried out at the University of Leeds involving 48 cats, a total of 46% were right-preferent, 44% were left-preferent and 10% were ambilateral. There are also games you can try with your cat to test for paw preference.

It is not generally known that just as people are either right-handed or left-handed, cats are either right-pawed or left-pawed. Out of every 100 cats approximately 40 are left-pawed, 20 are right-pawed, and 40 are ambidextrous. These findings contrast strikingly with the human situation where only 10 individuals are left-handed for every 90 who are right-handed.

Yes! Studies have been done that show that cats do have a preference for using one paw over the other, so it is entirely possible for one cat to be right-pawed and the other to be left-pawed.

All the cats I've had have shown a preference for one paw or the other, so I would think that you do indeed have one right handed and one left handed cat. :)

My rescue cat, Flora, enjoys batting things mostly with her right paw, but if she's really serious in batting something around, she'll use both.
Since she leads with the right however, I think she just might be right "handed!"

I think your husband is right.
I have also noticed that our cats also curl up in a particular direction (anti-clockwise), with the head facing left.
It make you want to paws for thought.

Cats are near perfect hunters and as such are equally balanced to near perfection. I would say they are not either " pawed" but may simply be a habbit for that paticular cat.

Yup. All cats have a dominant paw. Dogs do too.
