Who did the back ground Checks? I think that is amazing. Can you post a link that shows the stats on illegal immigrants in the military? I am very proud of our military. I could care less where someone is from if they are a citizen. I don't think that it's only about illegal immigration. I think there is a lot of animosity and resentment over some real estate also.

As a US born Korean Vet, I have no problem at all with this. Does this surprise you? They would have to endure predjudice, but probably less in the service, especially from their employer.

Unfortunately if you were a suspected gay virgin immigrant, you would be a triple target for the bullies in your barracks and whatever superiors that were biased.

I think joining the military is a great way for immigrants to get their citizenship. They are truly proving their worth in our country.

If they want to earn citizenship rights, fine with me.

I am a Vietnam-era veteran, and I identify with the plight of all people in the military.
