yea u should avoid make up that is not non-comedogenic.That means it wont promote or irritate acne.But a good cover up ive used iz pure concealer by mabelline New York...it has salicylic acid which fights acne.

Not necessarily. What you want to look for is make-up that is marked as "non-comedogenic". This means that it will not clog your pores. Once you have the pimple, the make-up won't make it worse...the pore is already clogged, so nothing is going in or coming out.
To help get rid of the pimples, the best over-the-counter medications will contain Benzoyl Peroxide...this is actually a form of antibiotic which will help to eliminate the infection caused by the clogged pore.

Yes, but I know how impossible that is some times. Who wants to leave the house with a big ol zit exposed. What I do is I put a thin layer of salicylic acid on it, then wait for it to dry, then you can dab on a little concealer to cover it up. Just make sure the salicylic acid dries completely or your make up will end up looking flaky. You'll be treating the pimple, and covering it up.

If you can go w/out it, your pimple will go away sooner. But sometimes this can't be helped. You need to make sure and remove all of your makeup every night and get a very good scrub cleanser, and an astringent.

cover up will make it worse, when you use cover up, it doesn't allow your skin to breath, so you will get bigger pimples, and your blackheads and pores will be worse! a good way to get rid of pimples, is to use a face wash with alcohol in it twice a day.

Absolutely! Make-up can further clog the pore and possibly infect the pimple, increasing your risk of scarring. Keep the are clean until it heals.

Yes because you clog your pores and the brushes and pads that you use get bacteria in them and the bacteria lives in them and when you put them back on your face to reapply your makeup you just put more bacteria on your face and you get new pimples.

I use Neutrogena concealer because I worry about that exact same thing. I've NEVER had a problem with it creating more pimples.

Yes makeup can cause your pores to expand and let more bacterica to come in! i am a doctor i know these things!

in my experience an oil free makeup helps to dry them up. so wear makeup and see what happens
