After 10 years you can petition the state governess office for a pardon of the offense. This is a long application process that should be done by an attorney. Only after a pardon, which is the states way of saying your no longer a threat to society, can you apply to the courts for expungement.
It's not something the layperson can do easily. You really need a criminal attorney to help you with it unless your a law student or something.

I am almost positive that Domestic Violence is one of the deadly sins that are not expungable, ever. Some shyster lawyer might be willing to take your money and tell you that they will try, but Im pretty sure your screwed.
