my Gt grandfather .was i think born in Kristinestad .his name was charles michael Sjoblad he was a rigger on sailing ships. he went to Liverpool ,and got married ,&changed his name to Sealeal. he had 1 brother & , sisters .who i belive went to the u.s. to live, has anyone any info, thanks

sorry i had put the last bit of info ,wrong , my Gt, grandmother's name was Johanna Breen, from Ireland,her mother was spanish, after a falling out with her father, she came to L iverpool (Bootle) to look for her aunty, and she met ,what was to be her husband (gt, grandfather ) the same day

Smart plan to put that as a question. Have you been on people search and pates same? I was able to find my Father's " birth" family my posting on every possible site . Keep trying . I hit the jackpot within weeks. Good Luck
