It isn't wrong. Stop listening to the Atheists. God calls you to do it whether people receive it or not; don't be deterred.

You have to realize that some people are not ready to hear the message that you bring and do not want to be preached at. The most Christian person I have ever met did not preach to us and did not quote from the Bible. Rather he showed his Christianity is so many different ways in that he did not judge others and that he was a wonderful friend. Perhaps show people your Christianity in other ways and maybe they will start to ask about the Bible.

There is nothing intrinsically evil about quoting from the Bible. It may be insensitive and in poor taste depending on the audience. There is a logic problem in supporting an argument by appealing to a "revealed" scripture that is not universally accepted and is not independently verified. And people who are not interested in the Bible should not be obligated to endure any "explanations" of said Bible. But if the listener is willing, preach away!

It isn't wrong. However, using the bible to quote from or to preach to people is ethically considered an "appeal to authority". People usually want to discuss issues or morality in a logical way, and referencing scripture pulls faith (not logic) into the picture. Keep preaching and quoting, but understand that people who do not believe are only going to listen to you if God calls them to.

It is not wrong but those who are against God and haters of Christ belong to Satan and they do not want to hear anything about the Word of God and they are making their laws that work against the Church until the time that their deceiver comes on the scene and marks them with a computer Microchip in order to buy or sell sealing their fate to be doomed to hell with Satan. This chip is now being place in animals yet the FDA has already approved this device safe for Humans as it can be tract by satilite and hold the identity of it's carrier. The Word of God condemns this mark and has set the fate of all who receives it. Want to know more? Go to trumpetmin.org and click= "Could this be the mark?"

Which interpretation?
Some culture interpret the bible (old and new testament) literally and gets into conflict with say evolution - that's wrong.
Some other culture will say the stories in the old testament are symbolic, meant to reflect. That's okay.
The thing is, to teach people that evolution is wrong because it conflicts with their religion is bad. If you happen to believe in another religion, you might not have a conflict with evolution.
Why God allowed to have more than one religion? Since he did allow it, he has no take in any in particular. Humans at work. But some of the ideas are good and should be preached (particularly about forgiving like Jesus was teaching)

It is not wrong. Without the Holy Bible evryone would be lost. It is the Truth of God's Word that set's us free.
John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Without the Word we cannot have faith.
Rom. 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Preach it!

It isn't wrong at all to tell someone about the Bible or help someone understand it... but their feelings and own beliefs should also be respected at the same time... if they become aggressive or rejectived towards it, then maybe you should step back a little.

its not wrong to tell people about the Bible or to help them with understanding it. its just that people dont want to know about or they dont want to understand it.
but think about how hard-pressed you would be if someone were to try and force a religion or culture onto you. i think anyone would feel that its wrong.
when you preach or quote something from the Bible, make sure you are not forcing these subjects onto the person. it is uncomfortable and you will probably scare them away rather than convert them into faithful christians.

It's wrong because usually no one solicits the information. They answer the door and here are two witnesses proselytizing while the helpless person is standing there in their bathrobe.
It isn't wrong to tell people about it if they're receptive, but it's very wrong to inflict it on people, and then condemn them if they're not interested, skeptical, or belong in one of those little subgroups that aren't welcome in the modern Christian world.
What's worse is to mangle the Bible's teachings. To twist it and turn it so it accommodates your "weltanschauung" on life and the world. That's why it's always on those lists you see from time to time of the worlds "most dangerous" books, like Mein Kampf, The Feminine Mystique, etc.

its not wrong, its never wrong and it never will be wrong. even when it becomes against the law. why? bc GOD said we would carry light to a dark world.
if some one does not like what they are hearing they can walk away.
you have the freedom to say what you think. but you need to be clear in how you say it.
ill give you an example. there is a website that un-truthfully declairs "god hates fags".. nothing could be farther from the truth, and because these people said this, many non christians think thats how christians think.
so clear in what you say and how you say it. because the reputation of Christ is on the line.
