at what age do you men stop feeling attracted to teenage girls?

K so I just got this really weird gossip today. And it got me thinking. Obviously when you're a teenage boy you like teenage girls. How about when you're thirty? Do you still feel attracted to them? How about at forty? Or fifty? BE HONEST! I know I have felt attracted to 30 or 40 year old guys so do they feel attracted to teenage girls at that age? Like would a 40 year old dad think his 17 year old's friend is hot? Or would a thirty year old sports coach think some of his players are cute? Or would he just look at them like daughter's. Think they're pretty but never think of feeling attracted to them.

The primal urge to procreate is the reason for sexual attraction. It is the reason we humans exist as a species just like any other living thing, we must procreate and pass on our genes in order to survive as a species. The things that excite a man sexually are not for no reason. The reason men find attracive women disreable is because of millions of years of trial and error in the population of the world. For example, the reason men are attracted to women with large breasts is because in our evolution. women with larger mammory glands had a better potential for raising young. The same reason women are atracted to muscular men, because they would be better hunters to feed the family. There is no coincidence that we are turned on sexually by the things we are. There is a procreation reason for all things that are found attractive by humans that all comes down to survival in earlier times. In answer to your question, men are attracted to youth becuase younger women are more fertile and more apt to produce healthy offspring. So after millions of years of evolution, men have been programmed to be sexually aroused by youth because it led to better survival of our species. Now, this is no excuse for acting on our instincts, we also now have will power and the knowledge of right from wrong, saying that jsut because we are attracted to youth, that is no excuse to act on it now that it is not a matter of survival of the human race. But yes...men are attracted to teenage girls. They have been programmed to by earlier evolution of our species to survive by mating with other individuals that have the most chance of successful continuation of the species. I hope you understand what I am describing. If you think of all the things that make you attracted to a man, you can probably figure out why a cave woman would need that quality in a man for her children's survival in the harsh early days of man's evolution. Just the same, if you look at all the things that men find attractive in women, you can find reasons why a caveman would need those qualities in a cave woman to help increase the chances of the survival or the succesful life of his offspring. With youth comes the best chance of succesful breeding, therfore man has been programmed to want to mate with (unknowingly) the most succesful survival of his offspring, because that was the reason for mating in evolution. Now that we have evolved to have a structured society with rules and no longer have to live the rough life of the caveman, we do not have to act on those primal urges left over from our evolution. Therefore it does not mean it is right to chase teenage girls, just because cavemen needed to for our survival. We have the ability to shoose between right and wrong based upon where we are now in our evolution. But, yes, on the most basic level, men are attracted to young women as a left over from the early days of man when it was necessary for survival.

It depends if you're talking about fantasy or reality. A man retains his child self, teenage self and young adult self even as he becomes old. Hence the saying, "If only I were ten years younger!" when older men look at younger women. Basically then, it depends to what extent the man is living in the real world as to whether he accepts his current age or still imagines himself to be young. I for one am guilty of this: I accept my age (34) reluctantly but wish I were younger. My solution to this problem has been to use Japanese Manga to unwind: reading about the romances of fictional young characters who are dazzlingly beautiful and often to be found in a state of undress. Also though, they cover the subject of sexual confusion and gender bending which pretty well describes the last ten years of my life... How I came to be in that situation was through a guilt of using pornography (ie: real women in the buff) . I was admitting to feelings of desire which I had denied for a good long time and this was both exciting and something I was deeply ashamed of. Hence I tried to put myself into a womans role by embracing femininity myself for a time and by encouraging older men who found me desireable, which I daresay you find very strange behaviour indeed. At 30 I had a flirtation with a younger man I knew - age 17 (I regard him as my first bisexual crush) and we just confused the heck out of one another and subsequently fell out . In short, we were both feeling things that we had not come to terms with in our own minds and the whole issue of whether or not this was a gay thing got in the way of the simple fact that we each found one another attractive and could have enjoyed a bit of a cuddle together. Instead, we thought far too much about what it meant and we each had our own guilts lurking. So, to answer your question, men are bound to find teenage girls attractive but most are sufficiently living life in the real world to recognise that they are too old to partner them. Sarah, I'm less than a year from 35. (OUCH!!!) I might look at a 13 year old girl and find her pretty and wonder what she will look like as a grown woman but that is not the same as lust, which is what you are talking about. At 23 I was attracted to girls of 15 upwards. As I get older, the age that I regard as an acceptable age for a partner also rises. I don't think the majority of 35 year old men would find someone as young as yourself attractive in that way but of course there are exceptions. Please don't think that all older men are predatory towards you: we are not. I gave your answer thumbs up because I believe you speak the truth as you see it.

i would feel really weird if i had a dad like that, i know you said he said he wouldnt ever do anything but what stops him from praying on girls of your age! Your mum should have left him a long time ago! Go and get a bikini, why should you have to pump wearing what you like because of him?

It'll vary from guy to guy, there are a lot of men that date girls far younger than them.

The biggest age gap i have been involved with was a girl 9 years younger (her 19-21, me 28-30). It was good for quite a while.
