I have had a house cat for the last 3 months. She was born outside at my house, and we brought her in when she was about 2 or 3 months old. She litter trained easily, and never once used anything but the litter box. Until today. She pooped on a pillow, and it was very watery looking. It didnt look like she would have had to force it out. She has also been acting like she's always hungry. My sister just returned from a week in Belize, and the cat just had surgery about a month ago. Is there any link? What could be wrong with her? Should we call the vet?

One of my cats has done this!! I immediately thought she was trying to tell me something. What better way to bring something to my attention. I took her to the vet and she had worms. A few pills and all better. In my experience although cats have an independent disposition they are very sensitive to our emotions. If something about me is different they react. I would definitely take a poop sample to the vet and have her looked at. If you are in a difficult financial situation, try to get deworming pills at the pet store and if there is no change, then you will have to find a way to pay for a vet visit.

Good luck, and kind regards, Wendy

Yes, you should take her to the vet.

I doubt your sister being in Belize has anything to do with it. They surgery may though, depending on what it was for. What operation did she have?

Do you worm the cat? If she was outside up until three months ago,or if you don't flea treat her, it's fairly likely she has worms.

Take her to the vet. At the very least you need to get some proper flea and worming medication, but since the cat lived outside for the first couple of months of her life she could be harbouring any sort of virus.

Best thing to do is consult the vet. Also sometimes cats act out when something in their environment changes. However since your cat is experiencing a change in appetite as well, then calling the vet would be wise. Sudden changes in behavior, such as this, could definitely mean something is physically wrong. Tell the vet every symptom, changes in the environment, what food that cat has been eating. Try not to leave out a thing, this will help them determine if it's medical or behavioral.

it could be stress making your cat have the runs even animals do get stress or depression. Id say take her to a vet to make sure and bring a poop sample with you she may have a nasty infection going on or worse so have her looked at right away.

you have already replaced the nutrients that's a physically powerful pastime yet you do could desire to get him back on a balanced weight loss plan, tuna does not have each thing your cat desires. additionally take him to the vet because of the fact the vomiting could be an illustration of something greater intense extremely than a nutrients hypersensitivity.

Yes, I would definetly take her to the vet. There could be some problem inside her bowels or something, those are classic signs.

Definately take her to the vet. Just like humans, the young and elderly are at most risk to disease/infection.

It's hard to tell if there is a connection or if there is anything wrong at all. You said she is always hungry. Is she also always thirsty? Extra peeing? If so please email me.
