I've heard a lot lately about body cleansing to jump start a diet. Is it worth it? Is it tolerable? Is it going to have me in the bathroom every five minutes? What is the best system or brand? Help!

Its funny you should ask this cuz I am doing a cleansing as we speak! I am using Sculpt & Cleanse. Quite a few people have recommended it. For the first week you take 2 pills in the morning and then 2 in the evening. Then take one pill a day forever. Its very mild so you wont be making a mad dash to the bathroom every hour. You do need to drink ALOT of water tho and try to cut back on foods that are hard to digest. the only side effect that I have had is that I feel alittle sick to my stomach but that is only because of the toxins that body is trying to get rid of. My Dr diagnosed me with IBS and I have taken many different meds and so far this is the only thing that has made me feel better. I highly recommend it!

Sunshine products are very good pure and not cramp producing. It is very good to cleanse once or twice a year it does cause you to lose weight and gets your system flowing smoothly. No you won't bein thebathroom every five minutes just a few times a day during the first few weeks. Your energy level improves and sleep better too. You might also look in to a parasite cleanse. People get the impression that because we are not a thrid world country that we dont have that problem but I'm here to tell you it is more common that you would think and it's easy to fix. They can cause anything from headaches to mental illness.

I use Isagenix which aids you body in cleansing toxins. It is also full of nutrients so you are feeding your body at the same time.
With this system, you are not visiting the bathroom (some people have the opposite effect)
It is tolerable and very simple to do. Not always easy, but very simple. Many meals are replaced and it comes with an action plan.
If this sounds interesting to you, check out the website for more information.
Good Luck!!

Honestly, i believe it's up to the person. You know your body best, so you should know if it will be tolerable for you. I've done detox's before, and they honestly made me feel so much better and lighter. I did it more for the benefits I received health wise, and not so much for the weight loss, althought that was really nice too! Just take it step by step. There are tons of different plans, some include more food, and others include less. There are tons of detox websites on the web. Here's one i like http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/diet/detox/plan.htm
Hope this helps, just search the web and find something that fits you!
