Hi, I am 27 years old and I have never had chicken pox, I am really scared to get it at this stage of my life. Can I still get the vaccine? I don't want to get those ugly blisters/pimples in my skin.

I am sure you can get the vaccine if you want to. The studies are showing that it only holds its efficiency for about 5 years.
You probably have not got it because your immune system is strong enough to fight the infection of chicken pox. Getting it as an adult is a lot more serious than when children get it.
If your immune system is strong and healthy than there should not be any worries.

Regardless of age you can still get vaccinated. The vaccine wasn't out when you were a child and chicken pox, as is any childhood illness is harder on adults. If you haven't had chicken pox I suggest the vaccine because you can get them without being exposed to someone who has them.

Probably. However the vax may be fairly expensive.
