I am told the following; Maitreya is not a religious leader, but an educator in the broadest sense.
He is here to inspire us to create a new era based on sharing and justice, so that all may have the basic necessities of life: food, shelter, health care, and education.
His open mission in the world is about to begin. As Maitreya himself has said: 'Soon, now very soon, you will see my face and hear my words.'

I was in London at the time, and there was something of an "end of the world" flutter about this in at least the local news.

These people are the formation of a cult. No way do they speak the truth. They represent no one and have no Holy Spiritual power nor have had the 3 baptisms. I heard one speak too once and as soon as it was said that Jesus was not the Christ, no more open listening from me. There have been, are, and will be MANY charlatans and fake messiah types. Jesus Himself warned of this. The ONLY true Messiah of God is Jesus of Nazareth. The rest is common knowledge and don't be led to believe otherwise. Jesus overcame death and sin. His time and ministry on earth was the fulfillment of prophecy. No other man walking ever, will be able to carry out the same ministry. Jesus IS the way truth and life. No other !

NO... Maitreya is only supposed to come AFTER the Dharma is long forgotten in this world. While the Buddha Dharma appears in decline, it's far from forgotten. We still have many precious lamas amongst us.

You will always get these types, they are in it for a good free living. There is only one true Messiah and He will soon be with us again. We are coming to the end of time and World peace will be with us but it must come out of a conflagration, a war. This will be played out in the middle east and is in progress now.

The Anti-Christ. This is what everything is being set up for. He is going to "conquer" (supposedly) the wickedness of all this price gauging and religious squabbling and international wars and you name it and he will have the "solution" but, it is his doing to start with.
