There's no substitute for contact lens solution but if you're in a pinch used sterilized water. Never store them in eyedrops.

Yes you can, but keep in mind that they won't be clean. So if you have to put them in to get home then take them out and clean them right away. You don't want to get an eye disease. They should be okay overnight. I've done it in a pinch before.

You obviously have eyedrops that are made for contact lenses so go ahead and use that. Don't use visine unless it's for contacts.

No, I think I'd just store them in water instead. Leaving them in eyedrops overnight could damage them, but water should be safe. They won't be disinfected and they might be itchy going back in in the morning, but I think I'd just go with water instead.

Eyedrops have chemicals in them that can mess up your contacts. Best that you find a nearby pharmacy and buy some more.

It's not ok!! Water contains a bacteria that causes serious eye infections. I would just keep the contacts in a dry case until I got home to clean them. Or better yet, put solution in the case first, take out my contacts, then clean 'em when I got home. Remembering to dump out the solution and clean the case, of course.

if they are saline eye drops that are for contacts, then yes that works, but only occasionally. water is probably better, then rinse them with saline eyedrops before putting them back in. do not use visine (unless its the kind made for contacts). it does not work with contacts and will make your eyes burn.

No I dont think so. You shoudl store them only in the special water provided.
It's best to be on the safe side coz these things go in your eyes. Just ask someone to bring them over.

I don't think so...I once mistakenly put eye drops in my eyes and nearly burned my eye balls out! I couldn't get them out of my eyes fastr enough and I also couldn't wear them again for about 4 days!

I mistakenly used regular eye drops istead of those for contact wearers. Be careful.
