Is Global Warming the new rallying cry of Leftist Control Freaks?

Leftists love hierarchical control viz a viz Soviets, China, Cuba, Franco's Spain, Venezula, several baltic/eastern europe countries, -etc. They needed big rallying cries to 'justify' their takeover of a country [fighting imperialism, economic factors, jobs, no wars, utopia laced platitudes, -etc]. Just ask a leftist - they are smart and probably smarter than you! They are not interested in debate for in their minds they have won. Just straighten up and do as we say (they say)

Global Warming is the new rallying point behind which THEY HAVE A PLAN and you my little ones, WILL PAY FOR IT.
Do this, do that, pay this, pay that, buy this, dont ever buy that , control, control... total control.

Not quite sure, but I'll tell ya what, I'm sick of hearing about it, is it me or did Al Gore say 20 years ago that we were heading for another ice age? It's hard to believe some of these people when they are trying to push the next generation to do something, Screw you, we aren't the ones who are scientist or the generation who believes that it's too late for THEM to make a difference. I think that this generation should let that generation fix it and try and see what this generation can do to prevent it from happening again. THIS generation shouldn't have to fix the last generations mistakes.

By Exposing the Hypocrisy of the "Concerned EnvironMENTALists". As an example, the EPA-OBD II Law mandates that all Gasoline Powered Vehicles in the USA from ' 96 to the Present, must run at 14.7 Parts of Air to 1 Part of Fuel. Any change, even if Emissions are lowered, and Fuel Economy is improved, will result in a failed Vehicle Inspection ! Really ! Under this insane Law, it is entirely possible for a Vehicle to fail Inspection for not emitting enough Pollution ! If the Vehicle's Exhaust Oxygen Sensor does not detect the "Proper" Level of Emissions, a Failure Code will be entered into the Vehicle's Computer, which in turn will send the same Code to the OBD II Vehicle Inspection Machine, that will result in a Failed Inspection ! Gasoline can be safely converted into a Dry, Clear Vapor that is 100 Parts of Air, to 1 Part of Fuel.My Avatar is a Photo of a Device that I have constructed that does just that. I've lit it on Fire to prove it really works. This has the Potential to enable even the largest SUV to get 50 + MPG, and emit 10 times less polluting Exhaust Emissions than with a conventional Fuel System. But again, it's illegal to even attempt on any Vehicle 11 Years Old, or Newer ! Now, 1996, let's see, what Administration was in Power when this "Brilliant" bit of Legislation was enacted ? I guess that would be "An Inconvenient Truth"? The whole Idea behind the Vehicle Inspection System is to have a much greater level of Control over Vehicles, and their Drivers. It's all tied into a Central Database.Leftist Control Freaks that are all in favor of enpowering Big Government love it , especially since they can use Global Warming as an Excuse ! I think you have a very valid point that something like global warming could be used to justify a social takeover, but this could happen with any issue and certainly is happening right now. For example Christianity in the certain parts of America - don't buy this, don't do that, only buy this, pay this etc. It is a system of control, even if you see that the control is to direct you to a more moral lifestyle. But is that not what global warming is about too? Is it not a moral basis with which you must act? What we thought about purchasing and using resources is no longer true, we know now that it is harming the environment to a great deal. It is harming it to the point of possibly destroying this world for the next generation, and maybe even the current generation. Is it not a moral issue to protect something so it can be used by others, and not destroy it? Is it not a moral issue that we cause more good than harm in this world? Global warming solutions are ways to help and foster community amongst the world. You can't argue that they are so much a system of control since so many companies and groups are realizing that this is a problem and are offering solutions to you. You as a person is still not required to do anything about global warming, so you can't argue any form of absolute control. Since more companies are coming w/ solutions you have a choice between them. And thats what it comes down to, a choice if you want to help the environment or not. And unless you are a scientist or have a heavy science background don't begin to think that global warming is a hoax, becuase it isn't. And no global warming doesn't mean that its going to get hotter everywhere, it means the climate is going to change... rapidly.

In the end the safety of your home and of your children is not a partisan issue, it is a human issue. And it isn't currently a control mechanism becuase the government is doing nothing about it, and you have choice to be apart of the solution or apart of the problem. Don't think that because the world is changing, both actually and consciously, that it is a system of control.

If you were, you would realize that the only thing you're paying for, and everybody else for that matter, is the greed of the people who are thoughtlessly creating global warming through the exploitation of any and all natural resources they can get their hands on, whether it's people, land, or oil. It's all for money--and I bet you're not getting any of it! Who's lining their pockets with $3.00/gallon gas prices? Not the "leftists". Who's lining their pockets with military contracts in Iraq? Not the "leftists". And why does the US need control of Iraq in the first place? Hmmm, maybe for the oil?Gee, I wonder who's control we should really be concerned about?

How can anyone in their right mind listen to and believe anything that comes from Al Gore? Think back to the Oliver North trials. Al Gore refused to believe Oliver North about the dangers of Osama Bin Laden. Look where that got us. I don't know what is worse, The stupidty that comes from Al Gore, or the people that actually believe it. Al Gores record is not one to brag about.

I do not agree with your stance on Global Warming and the "leftists", but I understand how you may have been misinformed, thus causing you to feel this animosity. Therefore, I want to give you my point of view, with hopes of making things clearer for you.

Global warming, pollution, loss of natural spaces, & endangered species are all real problems. You must choose whether or not these problems are worth you time. If you really think about it these problems probably are worth your time because they deal with your existence and your descendents existence directly. Regardless of who is in favor of keeping the earth green, you should support what you believe is worth a fight. But there is no sense in polluting, wasting natural resources, etc. because you think the "Global Warming Campaign" is an evil ploy set to destroy your ideologies. Remember, we share this earth with many living things, and we are all interconnected one way or another.

"Leftists" as well as their counter-parts are sometimes given too much credit. If they were really this deceiving, manipulative, evil force you make them out to be, don't you think they would be in power by now?
