They both did miracles together. In case you didn't know.

The funny thing is that there is a ton of anecdotal evidence for Apollonius, but Christians still reject the whole thing as a copy. But the early Christians claimed that Dionysus and Apollo were copies of Jesus, even though they came first. Apparently, Satan has a time machine in his Dinosaur bone factory.

The truth is that these sort of movements were going on all over the Roman Empire in the First Century, and mostly the stories were heavily embellished with the miraculous by the time they were written down.

I personally don't believe that Apollonius is one bit more real than Jesus. There may have been a Pythagorean style teacher and his followers deified him and mythologized his adventures.

But then, I have doubts about Socrates. I think Plato invented him to place words in his mouth and escape the inevitable backlash.

Never heard of 'em. If he was such a good friend and he also did miracles, why doesn't the Bible mention him? It mentions John the Baptist, and even the guy who drew lots to become a new disciple and lost.

There's no proof that Apollonius or Apoloinus existed. Apollus and Apollonius are two different names, and Apollus isn't described as any miracle worker or friend of Jesus.

And I suppose you and King Saul played tennis on the weekends?

No mention of Jesus and this person ever knowing eachother

But if he got saved....then Jesus surely is his friend now

Perhaps they were rivals, sort of a "dueling miracles" pair.
