Mine is 2 months old and I have had a technician out to see it 3 times already. I think I got a "lemon"! The picture is awful and it heats up after only a few hours of being turned on. What should I do? It is like pulling teeth for Sears to seen me a new one!

Two months old and no satisfaction, keep a record of every contact you have with sears, WHAT BRAND???? Stay after Sears and ask for exchange, no satisfaction, call the mfg and complain. Keep in mind if they do replace it you also want assurance that the replacement is just that "a replacement" or a substitution. Do not let them treat it as part of the warranty coverage. Some warranties state that once the coverage has equaled the value of the orig. purchase the contract is full filled and any additional repairs will not be covered.

Some mfg have recently had problems with overheating, Mitsubishi for example has a sensor problem with their DLP and are making repairs as necessary.

If it is a Samsung, wait in line. Very poor brand. Many problems. Akia is even worse, and the list goes on. Invest in a name brand, Panasonic, Sony.......Ect. Sears is going to hell trying to keep up with Wal-Mart, Best Buy, ect. Bottom line is you will get what you pay for. Stay with a well supported brand name / manufacturer.
