"proven otherwise" answers the question.
Anybody with the brain God gave a grapefruit, knows that any of this sort of nonsense is only coming from those with an
anti-God agenda.
If there are persons of faith who would believe that the Bible should be banned because of adult content, then I have this to say to those people:
If Gods Word is just a bit too racey for you, then the doctrine of the Antichrist should be just about right for you. He's coming and along with him will be a new doctrine - one of tolerance and love, one of soothesaying.
That means he'll tell you only those things soothing to your little sensitive ears.
The Bible includes reporting of whatever was happening during the time, whether it be socially, religiously, in politics, etc.
Either a person wants to hear the truth, or they just want their ears and eyes tickled.
People who cannot handle simple truth, are
not of very much use to God or any of the rest of us, quite frankly.
I have to say, I cannot imagine that any person of the true Christian faith would ever imagine such a thing as to ban the Bible, or even to give it an "adults only" sticker.
The one thing Satan would absolutely love, is for young people not to have access to truth. He'll be coming chock-full of lies, and if people are unable to read the Word of God so as to distinguish those lies from the truth, then our young are doomed to that deceit.
Sounds to me like there are some people in this world with the antichrist's agenda.
That doesn't surprize me, either, since we are in the final generation.

If we are going to ban books and media for indecency, then we should be fair and take an honest look at the bible. Maybe we should just get rid of the offensive parts, like most of the books in the OT and several racial and sexist statements in the new testament

Ah, the Hong Kong bible controversy. Just watch this space, since the same attempt is certain to be made in America.
I'm not for banning, being more in favour of age restrictions and warnings. This does not stop parents buying a bible and giving it to their children - just like a DVD rating. There are some very disturbing images and stories in the bible, and it should not be so accessible. This goes for holy books of other religions too.

The Apostle Paul pretty much sum's it all up in these passages of scripture......"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."
(1 Corinthians 2:13-15)..... "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
(1 Corinthians 1:17-19).....Any questions?

There is plenty of literature with indecency and violence that sit on bookshelves of stores and libraries. I don't think the Bible should be treated any differently.

Do you really want to start banning books? What's next censorship and banning of films, television, radio, newspaper, magazines. You know what comes next right?---- banning and censorship of free speech, assembly, etc.

NO! No book should be banned. It just needs to be acccepted for the fiction and fairy tales that it is. If you start banning one book, where do we stop? You don't have the right to choose what I read and I don't have the right to choose what you read.

No. I am never a fan of censorship, no matter how ludicrous the book. I do think it needs moving to the fiction section though...

So you are for banning books? I don't think so. Gods word will never be destroyed.
