About how much money does a nurse make a year?

im doing a school project and cant find an answer anywhere!

Narrow down at least the country - preferably a large geographic area, anyway.
Need to know what kind of nursing - Operating Room nurse, skilled in-home care, etc.
Starting salary or life-time ceiling? Please be more specific.... thanks

Call your local hospital.
Here in Florida a nurse starts out at around $38,000 per year. Average is $42,000 per year.
