DEI & RCR join forces, now do you think Jr. will go to RCR?

Yes it is engine related, but they are still related now in the business world know matter how you look at it.

'I read the same article. It also said it would have no effect on Jr's negotiations with Richard Childress. I doubt that no matter what Theresa does, DEI's on it's way down the tubes. I DO think Jr will end up signing with Childress. That same article quoted J.D. Gibbs as saying JGR wouldn't be "a good fit for Jr." Further... it stated that about the only team that hasn't contacted Dale Jr was HMS. I doubt Bobby Ginn could seriously offer Junior what he's want. That's why I'm betting on RCR.

No I do not! I think Jr is fed up with the way Theresa Earnhardt is running things at DEI. If she joined DEI with RCR she would still have some sort of say in what Jr does. I think that is root of the whole problem between them, Jr wants the wants to win championships and he is not getting the performance he wants to do that out of DEI.

No, because it is not a deal with his step mom that he wants any part of and it may even push him away. Theresa has kept Dale Jr from getting control of DEI and I am sure that he rather stick it to her rather than help her engine builder get better. He will start his own team before he goes to a team that has any ties to her and DEI. I still think Ginn racing is where he ends up next year. Dale jr is more upset with Theresa than he openly shows and that is how he makes a decision is to screw her for not giving him the control.

Soooo....Kelly thinks Richard Childress Racing is better perfect for Jr. than Hendrick Motorsports? Hendrick Motorsports...the creme de l. a. creme of NASCAR, the better of the perfect, the only with a crew that's attempting to 4-peat for the first time contained in the historic previous of the game...that Hendrick Motorsports? If she tells Jr. to renounce his vacation at HMS for a niche at RCR, she's an fool. If he does it..he's an fool. possibly now that Jr's in his mid-30's he could oh, i do not recognize...start up questioning for...himself?

I stick by my original answer which I feel Ginn Racing is a better fit for Jr. and JR Motorsports. RCR is just everyones sentimental pick. Jr. wants to WIN and wants to WIN a CHAMPIONSHIP.

How ironic, Jr. is leaving and Teresa finally gets off her rump and seeks out some damn good engines... Maybe if she gave Jr. some decent stuff to race with he woulda stayed!

Also Mary D, you have is backwards, DEI is looking at buying Yates, although they have said they would use the Yates engines...

If thats where he wants to go then yes. They will be building engines together thats it. Teresa will not have any say about Jr. just like Richard couldn't tell truex what to do. But I think he will either go to Ginn racing or Hendrick. If your going to go somewhere might as well be the best.

They are joining engine programs. Childress said he is interested in signing Jr., but isn't sure how the merge will affect Jr.'s decision. I think Jr. is tired of his stepmother's crap and will try to stay away from her AND out from Under her as much as possible...hopefully. Ginn is the way to go for Jr. But who knows?

Theresa needs to just go away, I think throughout this whole deal she has been very disrespectful to Jr. Big deal she was Sr.'s wife he certainly didn't intend for her to eff up his son's life. She probably had this in the works for awhile and never said a word to Jr. about it. I think he should go with Bobby Ginn.
