my friend did that a few years back and she had beautiful long ccurly hair she had to cut it up to her chin and bc it all just broke off adn was very very coarse..so i suggest you trim your hair adn go to the store and buy aussie 3 min miracle and do a bunch of deep conditioners and stay away from the blow driyer and straightner for a while!! and if you do have to blow dry use a hair serum to help with frizzenes it makes my hair silky smooth and i to have dry split ends. so def. trim atleast the really fried parts adn hopefully it wont break off.. good luck sweetie im very sry about your hair xoxo

I hear alot of people saying to deep condition it. Which is great, yes. But over conditioning can actually lead to dry hair. Since it usually coats the hair in some sort of glycerin or other "softening" agent. That doesnt actually IMPROVE your hair, it just makes it feel like you did. But it will build up over time. Youre better off using protein treatments and fortifying/strengthening treatments, in conjunction with deep conditoners. I wouldnt buy any of the crappy conditioners at the drugstore. Go to Sallys or something of the like and go straight the section with the relaxers. You will find the rebuiling treatments near it. Also do hot oil treatments and use with a cap and heat. Go and get a few treatments at a salon every so often too. But PLEASE...dont do what that girls said and use straightening irons right now!! Thats the dumbest thing I've heard. Especially when youre using something like herbal essence. It doesnt have enough proteins or panthenol or amino acids ect, in it. You need higher quality. Aveda is a good brand for everyday use. For styling, in the meantime just take it easy. Wash and dry naturally. Using only styling products that are suited for brittle hair. Use leave in conditioner for a styling aid, and put hair in a braid, or pretty knot, or in a cute head band with hair up. Just go easy on it for a while until you start to see and feel a difference.

Ouch! Yeah relaxer were intended for African American hair.... or people with kinky textured hair. If you have straight hair you should use a really mild one or ask a professional. Since I have used relaxers, my best advice would be to use a henna conditioning treatment on your hair. It has worked for me for years. Relaxers are super damaging to your hair and can cause a lot of breakage. It is also a good idea to do a deep condition on your hair a couple days before you put a relaxer on your hair, and it is really important to do a treatment right after. Oh yeah.... and make sure not to use a relaxer that has lye in it.......which is way more harsh than a relaxer with no lye.

Ok I have been in the same boat. There is a product that you can buy called Aphogee treatment through sally's beauty supply. It totally works. In the meantime you will have to cut some of the really bad stuff off. Do the treatments once or twice a week until your hair is feeling better. You still have to maintain trims because if it is fried to bad where it feels mushy, there is no hope for the hair. Good Luck

There are relaxers specially made for Caucasian hair, but you have to let a professional do it when you first get one (as your hair is considered virgin due to no previous chemical processing). Since your hair is now damaged, you will have to get the damaged parts cut out, and go for conditioning treatments until your hair is restored to normal.
I had the same thing happen to me some time ago, and I am part African-American, so I understand what's going on.

Man I cannot tell you how many times I have fried mine lol! I feel for ya,usually what I do is go to my nearest Sally Beauty Supply and get a really good Hair Re constructor the sales person can help you out, use it just as the directions tell you and then use a good conditioner ever time you shampoo, and try to stay away from the hot irons or curling irons for awhile so your hair can rest.
Use the re constructor at least once a week! good luck

I went from black to bleach blond returned to dark brown. So what I did first advance into use Redken severe conditioner, I washed my hair with shampoo as commonly used and then positioned the conditioner on my hair and left it on for 20-30 minutes, I in basic terms clipped it up and went on making waiting or despite. I additionally use Biolage, color scientific care, shampoo and conditioner, that's made out of organic factors and my hair has on no account felt extra constructive. you will get those issues at any salon. sturdy success and that i desire that this enables you.

I would either try and go to a salon and get a deep condition treatment and a haircut. If you cannot afford it then I have heard that mayonnaise works? It sounds weird but I have been told that if you leave it on for awhile it helps with the dryness. Also, try and put a good conditioner on, wrap your hair in saran wrap and then wrap with a very warm towel and leave on for 20 minutes. Hope it works!

i would buy some leave in conditioner and use lots of it,and let it sit overnight..that might restore some of the moisture, also there are hair masks and things like that, go to the drugstore and just check out the hair products, also maybe call a stylist and ask for free advice.

Put a henna mixture in it for as long as you like, the longer you leave it in the healthier it will be. You can find henna at some stores but your best bet is an indian/mediterranean store. You can add things like lemon to lighten the color or tea for its' antioxidant qualities. After the henna, i recommend you get a flat iron..the one i love is a Remington Wet to Straight. I set the temp. on mine to 30, because i have coarse thick hair, but set yours to 17 and gradually move higher till you find a temp that straightens your hair best. i also use herbal essence shampoo and conditioner..smells great and makes my hair beautifull. Good Luck Girl!!!!
