If you are in the UK ring freephone 0808 100 8182.

If you have a business line you will be automatically entitled to a free line entry. This is a listing in regular print with your company name, address and telephone number. You will need to know which classification to go in. These are usually listed at the back of the Yellow Pages. If you are going to buy an advert then put your free entry in a different classification to spread yourself around a little.

If you visit the link below you can carry out this process online.

Yell.com and Yellow Pages draw from the same database so it doesn't matter which way you do it.

Setting up a free line entry will trigger a call form a sales rep. I was a Yellow Pages Sales Rep in a former life. Beware. If you are new to Yellow Pages Advertising don't get pressured into buying a big colour ad. Measure and monitor whatever response you get so you can work out the cost per enquiry.

My website could be quite useful as we are a Yellow Pages advertising agency.

If you are not in the UK the process will almost certainly be very similar.

Hope this helps you and good luck.

call your local phone co and they will sic a salesperson on you so fast it will make your head swim. Phone companies make most of their money from yellow page ads. WARNING....Be prepared to be BLOWN OVER by the cost of a yellow page ad...even a one-liner...the cheapest is around two or three thousand dollars. Yellow page ads are ridiculously expensive...but I must admit...they are very effective...but the sales dept of the phone company is very aware of the effectiveness of their yellow pages and they are PROUD of them when it comes to pricing.
