Never let your right hand know what your left hand is doing.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Actually, I have heard of and read quite a few excellent wisdom phrases. Following are a few of the best ones that I know of.

1) Beyond the ideals of right doing and wrongdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

2) What other people think of me is none of my business.

3) If I had my life to live over again, I would dare to make
more mistakes.

4) Our actions have consequences.

5) Don't complain 'cause nobody listens.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
-Proverbs 4:7 King James Version

Serenity-

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference"

Accept that some days you the pigeon and others the statue.

If your not part of the solution be part of the problem.

Aren't the 'good things that come to those who wait' just the leftovers from the people that got there first?

Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.

Wisdom will save you you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perversness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.

My Favorite:
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdome and discipline"

"Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones"

My grandfather taught me this:

There was an old owl
Who lived in an oak.
The more he heard,
The less he spoke.
The less he spoke,
The more he heard.
I wish some folks
were like that bird!

And how true it is! Basically, what it means is - LISTEN - you might learn something useful - that way, when you speak, people will pay attention to what you say!
