Whenever I shave my armpits I'm always sure to use a new razor to make sure I don't have any ingrowns. But it always leaves my armpits brown with ingrown hairs and bumps. Whats the solution to clean looking arm pits?

you arm pits are darker i'm assuming because you have dark hair so when you shave you are only getting the hair on the surface and you can still see the hair beneath the skin although it is kinda uncomfortable and will hurt the first few times you do it waxing is the best way to get rid of this also if you have someone else even if it is just a friend pull it for you it will be a lot less painful remember to moisturize afterwards if you have little dots of blood it is because the root of your hair is slightly larger than the hair its self don't worry this will stop over time in fact in waxing over time you will find you grow back less hair so good luck and i hope this helps!

I have a solution for ALL of you with underarm hair issues that will solve them for good. I had huge issues with underarm hair being thick and stubbley. The solution is an epilator! The one I use is called Braun silk. It is the blue one. There is a pink one that is a bit cheaper, but does not have the light or remove as much hairs per motion. Ok let me warn you, the first time you use it...it will HURT Just rough it out! The hairs get pulled from the root. After each time you use it, it gets easier and easier, and now I don't even get hairs under my armpits for weeks after epilating. I also use it on my legs. Once you get through the first time, it really doesn't hurt. Make sure your underarms are dry and clean before you use.

some times as the other lady had said it has to do with the color of your hair but it could be genetics too if your latin chances are you have dark pits, try if you can not wearing deodorant for a few day and not shaving while doing it wash your arm pit every day and try to scrub all evidence of deodorant away ( I know gross but try it) them use shaveing cream and a new razor see if it help lighten it up (some deodorants can make your pits darker too so change what ever brand your using
