Nair doesnt burn but to be sure follow the directions carefully and precisely. I will warn you though it smells horribly like burning hair (doesnt burn thought) also to make sure your not allergic to any of the chemicals use it on a 3 in part and if all is well proceed.

NAIR SUCKS! It is worse than shaving. The best thing out there right now are epilators (like braun silk). You only pay 1 time to buy it unlike waxing, which can get very costly. It removes hair from the root and rocks! Warning: The first time hurts like a *^&%$ but after that it's a breeze.

In college we talked a friend into using Nair on his face.

Here is a rule of thumb: NEVER do what your college pals tell you to do. His face not only burned, but it was red for a week. To add insult to injury... very little hair came off.

Don't know if that quite answers your question, but it is relevant... and moderately entertaining. :-)

NAIR does work, and it doesn't burn, but honey, it STINKS! The odor will absolutely knock your head off. Anyway, if you can handle that, feel free to use it, but I prefer shaving, myself.

They do work. If you have sensitive skin, they have Nair for that also.

They work best on very light, less coarse hair but yes.

They are messy in that all the hair has to be wiped off or run off in the shower. I like to use masking tape on mine but don't necessarily try that.

I find they work best the longer you leave them on.

I use it especially when I want to do my own version of a Brazilian wax.

If you have sensitive skin this may not be the product for you. But it mostly works.

I tried it once and it was enough for me. Did not work how I thought it would, it made my legs itch, one thing it did do was make my legs really soft, but my hair was still there.
