I think it's OK. It's your body, you do what you want with it. As long as it's a small stud and not the size of a pea, it's all good.
You should decide what looks good on you. Everyone else should look the other way if they don't like what they see.

Lots of guys get their noses pierced. I don't like facial piercings, personally, but I can't see why it wouldn't be ok if you like that kind of thing

I actually know of two men (both straight) with their nostrils pierced but both have a small hoop in it and it looks great! maybe not a stud though! I actually have my septum pierced... Id recommend it... you can flip it up and hide it for work, interviews, school, court, etc.

In my opinion, very few men can carry this look.
Tommy Lee looks super sexy with his nose ring but Carson Daley looked ridiculous with his diamond nose stud.

Will your nose fall off? no.
I guess you meant, "is it socially accepted"?
I'd say depends on where you live. Big city, people usually don't even bother with you. Small town, it's probably not socially accepted.
Personally I wouldn't care who liked or what anyone else thought.

never saw a guy with a stud or nose pierced..I would say no, what about a lip ring??? That would be hott!!!

Yes.. I have had a couple guy friends who had gotten thiers done, and it looks hott as hell, if you like it go for it, just dont wear the jeweled studs.. lol.
