As a Nascar fan I used to watch 5 hours of TV on a sunday afternoon. I now have Tvo which allows me to watch the same race anytime I want. Skiping the commercals and cautions 5 hours is only about 2 hours.

I am a city girl always have been but I am a country girl at heart. I am lucky though not more than 15 minutes from my house the corn fields, natonal parks and inland lakes start so I can always find nature. Also I have a big family and a a few live in a small town a few hours north of me and they are all country 2 stop lights, 3 gas stations, 2 bait shops (the town is on lake huron) and 6 bars....LOL! I get up there as often as possible and let my wild side out!

If for some reason I'm not going to be home I do Tvo. But the only thing I fast forward are the commericials.

i have a DVR, and i would record it but it would take up a lot of space(yes i know you can delete it but i have other things recording also) and there is something for me about watching it live, even thou i have to sit thru the commercials, it just wouldn't be the same if i was watching it after i already knew who was going to win.
I also have Sirius radio, which has the drivers channels on there so i listen to that during the commercials

good for you, I just rather watch it live as it happens...hate the commercials but I see no point in watching after the fact
