I've never worshiped Muhammad (SAW). I have great love and respect for him, but I worship Allah (SWT).
If that was the case, I would have stayed Christian and worshiped Jesus.

Rev Kip - The moon God, WTF? And you're a spiritual leader? Explains a lot about the mindset of a lot of Christians out there... *Shakes Head* Do you not know that Muslims (and many Jews) trace the origins of Islam back to the first child of Abraham, who God also said would the be the father of a great people? So do you hold it against Jesus that his parents weren't christian? Since Mohammed founded the religion, of course he was born into a different one. And those crazy reference you made about the pagan daughters he allegedly worshiped, you need to study a bit more. Mohommed actually denouced all scripture regarding them as "The Satanic Verses" and said such beliefs had no place in a monotheistic relgion. Anyways, on to answering the question. Keep in mind, I speak of the broader Christian mindset, and not the actual religion itself which preaches tolerance of others... Christianity has never liked other religions. To include Judaism. Anyone recall the Inquisition? Or the fact that Pope John Paul II admitted that the church bore some responsibility for the holocaust because of it's intolerence of Jews? Ever heard the age old tale that we use the blood of a christian innocent to make our passover matzah? Christians want to piggy back off of our religion so they have a love hate relationship with us, but overall can't denounce us because they did borrow our God and not the other way around. The straight out hate for Muslims comes from the fact that while Jews just need to get with the program, Islam was formed after the death and hoopla of Jesus. We don't want to grandfather clause him in, but they outright rejected him. Oh, that and Christians seem to be an intollerant lot as it is (much to Jesus's chagrin, I'm sure).

No, Muslims do NOT worship the Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W.) NOR the Qur'an.
Muslims worship One God alone.
Muslims merely show reverence towards Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, the Qur'an, the Gospel, etc. because all were sent down by Him.
For example, when Muslims mention any of the Prophets' names, we say in Arabic, Peace Be Upon Him to show love. God commanded the Muslims to not make any distinction between the Prophets in love.

OH really, I would be the taught guy many people here Know I had been around the topic, but I think that I have a more positive think to speak about a topic never will end.
There is not case the argument with a Muslim, they believe in the impossible, a Koran made by God, a Military, murder, racist and paedophile that became "Prophet of God" because simply he would send his men to kill anybody able to say has a doubt.
And this is the same people that suddenly turn to scientific and teachers of history about others religions, they arrived also for the first time in history to add a Prophet of other faith and modify the history as, of course, convenience of Mohamed.
What you can discuss with people that many of them think that to dress in USA or London 21st century as 6th century style will take them to God but to kill and call for Jihad about a mosquito, also will take them to God.
I mean, for a discussion first we have to suppose that something has sense and sorry very much but Islam is like a Castle in a cloud, no sense at all, pure fantasy.
They will tell you ANYTHING to carry on with their fantasy, let it be.
I just thank God so much for being one of the 5 billion people proud free men and women with freedom of conscience and not part of the other 1 billion.

Who told you that Muslims worship Prophet Mohamed. That is not true at all. I am a Muslim and have lived in an Islamic country and that is not true. We have a high respect for our prophet but not to the point that we worship him.
You should do research.

No, you've got it all wrong, friend. I would like you to give me any example you find regarding us worshipping the great Prophet Muhammed (Sm.). We respect him more than any other human being in this world, because he is the greatest of the humans to us. But he is still a human being, a creation of the Almighty Allah. He was sent to this world to spread the message of Allah, the revelations of the Koran and the religion Islam.
Firstly, Muslims worship in the mosque together, praying to the Surpreme Creator Allah. We also kiss the holy stone in Ka'ba during Hajj, because the black stone is one of the valuable objects through which we show our allegience to Him. There are ways through which we express our love and respect to Muhammed, our dear Prophet, but we don't worship him.

Muslims cannot have an image of the prophet Mohammed. Muslims revere every aspect of the life of the prophet Mohammed. Muslims follow every word from the prophet. Is this not worship? If it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck then call it a duck... Muslims worship Mohammed.

Hello, this is a Muslim,Shoaib from Islamic Republic Of Pakistan.
according to the teachingz of the Holy Quran, only ALLAH(Whom the christian brotherz call GOD) is to be worshipped. Muslims dont worship Muhammad (peace be upon him),neither do they worship places. They worship ALLAH in the way the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught. If some muslims worship Muhammad(peace be upon him), this proves that those ones lack the knowlege of the real teachingz of The Holy Quran. There are some christianz too who lack complete knowlege of their religion as they worship Jesus whereas the Holy Bible tells that there's one "GOD" only.

Im a Christian. But still I think that any true Muslim wouldn't worship Mohammed the prophet. Maybe some people do it because they don't know the teachings of the prophet himself. Its not the fault of the religion, its just the way people intercept religions to suit themselves.
