I've heard that if a guy tells you about his problems, he just needs someone to listen to him, and that we don't need to give
advice. Is that true? do guys hate it when girls are concerned and ask them constantly whats wrong.
[&& lets just say that she has been his girlfriend for 7-8 months, and she can detect when somethings up?] does he find this bothersome?

if someone asks me constantly what's wrong and I don't answer then they need to get the hint. if i have a problem i want to talk about i talk about it. if not then i don't want too.

Have you read the book "men are from mars, women are from venus"? There's a whole section about the differences between men and women, and how women ask questions seeking emotional support and connection, and many times men ask questions seeking answers and solutions. And the author points out how each sex gets into trouble by making the wrong assumption on the questions they are asked.
