i had my sideburns cut so far up my head i looked like...i dont know what, about 2.5cm ABOVE my ear. ahhhhhhh...im a guy btw. DONT go to a barber lol, go to a reputable hairdresser and youll be fine. dont go to a newly opened hairdresser, or a back alley hairdresser. dont know who theyve hired. a hairdresser thats been opened for years might be a safe bet.

Depends on what your having done, if your just getting it fixed oh well you can wash it and comb it out, but if your getting a totally different look or having it colored be very careful, I had some hairdresser nightmares. What you have to do is go to someone that you know that your friends or family go too, some of them want to do your hair the way they think it should look. If your getting coloring make sure that the hairdresser is an expert in that area, some of them have no clue as to what they are doing, I had one come to my house and put the stuff on my hair and then..... sat down to read the paper work, as a result I had carrot red hair, not blonde as my hair is, all I wanted was a shade lighter. I'm not trying to scare you, just make you aware. As for a cut make sure that she completely understands what you want, if possible take a picture. Good luck !!!!!!!

Nope ive always had great service. I did change hairdressers though because they was quite nasty but im very happy with the one i have now. Aslong as you ask them how you want your hair done there should be no problems. Speak to a friend or someone that has been there and ask them what their service is like. At the ned of the day your paying for it, so if you dont like it then tell them! Good Luck, im sure it will be completely fine x x

Yes, but only one time. If you don't like what they've done, make a complaint, and they might fix it for free or with a discount. My sister cut my hair once, and since then I've decided to go with a hairdresser. =) Hope I helped! Good Luck!

Hair isn't alive and it does not strengthen. Hair is an accumulation of a protein referred to as keratin interior the follicle. because it builds up on the backside that is pushed out the suitable, arising "hair boost". that could be a organic and organic technique so no longer something which you do on your hair, like trimming it or employing some "particular" shampoo can help. eat a healthful, protein wealthy nutrition recurring and take a universal multivitamin every day. do no longer take prenatal supplementations, regardless of what some uneducated human beings right here would say, taking too many supplementations can do extreme harm on your organs, reason arthritis, and may even reason dying. that isn't any longer "only extra advantageous food," that is deadly so don't think it. I don’t mean to sound damaging, yet that is extreme and that i do no longer desire to work out human beings get harm for long hair! So no shampoo (consisting of Mane n’ Tail!) can, in any way, develop up hair boost. Hair boost is very very nearly completely genetic, and only slightly nutrition recurring, so all which you're able to do it substitute your nutrition recurring. chop up ends reason breakage on the backside of your hair, no longer on the backside. Hair is an inanimate strand of protein, no longer something which you do to the backside if it could have any consequence on the suitable of it. So chop up ends can't stunt boost or ruin hair off on the backside, so trimming them does no longer something! Use a stable deep conditioner to repair lots of the wear.

OMG I used to be petrified of hair dressers too. Here is what I suggest:
If you have friends who have their hair done and love it ask where they go. If I see a person and love their hair, I just would go and ask them where and who did it.
Finally, I got the name of a woman who did hair and I was recommended to go to her by many people. So, I took a picture of what I wanted for color and cut and I made her understand that I was nervous and that I was unsure of going through with it. She was awesome, and was especially careful since she knew I was already nervous.
She did a great job, and now I go to her for all my hair needs. Once you find the person you can trust with your hair, stick with them because they will get to know you and what you like. Good luck...and face your fear!

Yes - I've had bad haircuts but hair grows back.
Fortunately, I've also had 3 great hair stylists that I've been able to stay with & get great hair cuts. The reason I've had to change was because I moved out of the area or she did.
Here's what to do:
1) Use referrals/recommendations from people w/ good hair cuts & book consultations to see who you resonate with.
2) Start out w/ something conservative to test out a stylist's skills. (i.e. a basic trim or simple hair cut as opposed to radical change from long hair to a short pixie cut)
3) Bring photos of what you want & have realistic expectations that take into account your face shape, hair texture & amount of time you are willing to spend styling your hair.
