Well, the question is, why do you want to become Catholic. What has drawn you to the Catholic faith? No one here can answer that for you. You have to look into your hearts and answer that for yourself.

This is one of those situations in which every person asked that question is going to come up with something different. You have to look into your heart and see what's there, as far as your desires to become a Catholic are concerned.
Long story short, only you can answer for you.
I can tell you what I would answer if asked that question: Becoming a Catholic, any Christian denomination for that matter, is about consecrating one's self to a life of servitude in the name of Jesus.
The Church is there to serve you, and help you along your spiritual journey in this life. But that will mean little if nothing at all, if you are not willing to serve the Church in return.
Think of it like this, adapting some words from America's only Catholic president, "Ask not what your Church can do for you but what you can do for your Church."
Once you're in that frame of mind, you'll find your answer to the question.
You'll have to think on it, pray on it, meditate on it. The answer will come in time. It make only take a day, it could take a week, maybe a month, maybe longer. The point is, the answer will come and, when it does, it will blow your mind because you will have found your purpose for being; your reason for being Catholic.

Welcome!
Typical answers to this question are:
Faith, love, hope, understanding, support, to be a part of the family.
There is no right or wrong answer.
Pray and think about what you want the Church, the people of God to give you.
With love and prayers in Christ.

Good question; requires some thought.
I'd ask the Church to teach me everything She knows. Bless me and keep me.
Welcome home.

The answer is "Baptism."
You will be asked this question at the Easter Vigil when you will be baptised.
So, the question really is....why do you want to be baptised?
Only you can answer that question.

Just answer what your expectations are... we can't tell the answers to that... it has to come from YOU.
