details on what to say to the barber would be great, my hairs longer than in the photos and it looks like i have a bowl cut if my hair is clean, and if it has product in it, it just looks greasy

Personally, I like longer hair on men so I like the longer cut. BUT it would be a lot more work, I think.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing about any hairstyle is to KEEP IT CLEAN.
I think either style would look nice on you, but if you think that you could keep up the longer one, you would stand out more!
