I really love this person. The problem is that he pulled back when I got serious and when I wanted to take things forward. He says he isn't "ready" and is uncomfortable with my feelings. He cannot reciprocate. Ironically, he was the one who pursued me. I know for sure he likes me. I am exhausted trying to figure out whether he has any *fears*. Please don't tell me to leave him, becoz I can't and don't want to. Please advise how I shd handle this, if I want us to be together....

I also feel distance has been a hindrance although He says distance is not the reason. We were earlier in 2 different states in the US, and now we are in 2 different countries. I plan to move to his country for job reasons.

A man's perspective will be super helpful.....

Thank you guys.

just let whatever happens happen i guess, you cant force him to feel the same way so you just have to give him time to figure things out.

I find this question very interesting because I have been in the same place in my relationship. What I did was pull back so I could see if he would miss me and how serious he was about us. What happen was the minute I pulled away he was calling all the time, asking me out, etc... however I still wonder if I now let my guards down will he go back to his old ways... When you think about it should one really have to put so much of this kind of energy into it if he is the right one.

Have you read the book "men are from mars, women from venus?" The author talks about how and why men pull back and what it means. It may just be a temporary pull back of his emotions.
