Maybe they are physically incapable, and they don't have anyone to take care of them.

To annoy your roommate.
Portraying a gorilla in a play and going for "Authenticity"
Lost a bet
Just colored your hair...all of it.
Pet Alligator is very territorial

You're Nasty!
I suspect the reason we don't get made at Sloth is 1. it only hurts the slothful person (to our minds) and 2. we all feel guilty. I know I can be a real couch toad.

some people just dont bathe often. many times they simply weren't raised that way. just like some people are raised to never go to bed with a dirty house, and others always go to bed with a dirty house.
other people think that because they haven't been outside, getting dirty, that they aren't dirty. now we know that the human body starts to stink after a couple days of no shower, but theres a quote that says 'you're always the last one to smell yourself.'
anyway, a prayer warrior doesn't change who they are. or perhaps thats a reason. you say she is guilty of sloth, have you considered that perhaps rather than sloth she simply doesnt have time as she's normally reading her bible or praying?
I'm just saying, some people feel a clean house/body comes after prayer and meditation. some people are fanatical that way.

Depends on where she lives. You know, the gas company can turn off the gas if your bill is overdue anytime after march first. If she has a gas water heater, maybe she just doesn't want to take a cold dip...
If she lives in the boonies and has a septic holding tank, maybe she doesn't have the money to have it pumped and doesn't want a flood of ick in her yard....
Obviously if her home is also in poor shape something is going on...Possibly depression. Maybe you should stop judging her and talking about her behind her back and show a bit of love and support?

When people give up on personal hygiene, they are usually giving up on life. If the house is also dirty, maybe she is closer than anyone knows. If there are people judging her instead of trying to encourage her to change and help herself, that just furthers her cause to give up. She knows that no one cares if she lives or not. That doesn't stop her from praying and trying to stay close to GOD. God may be the only reason she hasn't committed suicide yet.

You got fish in the tub. Or your uncle moved in and is using the tub for a bed.You just came in from a two week cruise in a row boat. Your electrician hooked the hot wire to the water pipes. Got lost in a cave. You like dirty love.

I think this person needs to re-read Matthew 6, in particular verses 16 & 17

Only if they are in a burn unit. There is no reason a person to go 2 weeks without a shower/bath. It is unhealthy.

What does being a "prayer warrior" have to do with not bathing?

Is this person elderly? That is actually a symptom of Alzheimer's Disease. My grandma stopped bathing and washing regularly and we think she has Alzheimer's. She used to be fastidious and now she doesn't care anymore. If your friend used to be clean, is older, and just started this, you might want to get him or her to a doctor.
