I Know I Have Already Asked This Question But I Still Haven't Had Any Good Answers! My Foundation ***** Name Is Brooklyn And I Would Like To Include That In The Kennel Name I Just Have To Find Something That Goes With It?

Can you use just Brooklyn? The problem with using anything much longer is that it limits the length of the dog's names that can be added. Brooklyn already uses up 8 letters, 10 if you use 's. If you add anything else you'll have to make up pretty short names for your pups. My kennel name is Soundtrack, so that takes up 10 characters just by itself. And then if you co-breed a litter it can really limit your name length. I know of one co-bred litter where both kennel names together took up so many characters all the puppies' names had to be no longer than two letters.

Bassetnut has a major point - you have only 25 letters to a name and use more than about 10 for a kennelname & you start getting very name limited (I know sound crazy but take my word for it you WILL envy those with 3 letter kennel names eventally)
So if you don't want Brooklyn as a kennle name (confusing if you are not form NY) try Dodger or Ebbet (field) or some other city landmark .....

How about "Brooklyn's Best *********" with whatever kind of dog you raise in place of the stars. Don't worry so much about the length of the name like some have said. My kennel name is Beikmann's Bulldogs. Look how long that is. We just register the pups under "Beikmanns *****" It is not As major as some may make it sound. Hope this helps.

Are you going to be a breeder or have a kennel? i presumed a Kennel became a place to leave your puppy while you're out of city, what does that could desire to do with breeding? What breed besides? So do you like a attractiveness for a breeder or for a kennel or the two?
