What should I buy that will be the best way to use it before I sleep - can I buy it at cvs or walgreens?

I usually get my lavender (dried flowers) from a pagan-supply shop...but I'm sure you can find lavender incense, candles or plug-in-thing at walgreens...good luck, and sleep well :-)

Try lavender oil. Put a few drops of it into a brass ring that fits over your bedside lamp lightbulb. Turn the lamp on shortly before going to bed so that the oil will heat and scent the room. You can purchase the rings at Wal Mart and possibly the grocery store. I have several of these throughout my house and love them. They are safe to use, but don't pick them up if they have been on the lighted bulb.

This may sound ridiculous to you, but Johnson & Johnson's nighttime wash and lotion put me out like a light. It's lavender and chamomile scented. I know that they've started making adult versions of the washes and lotions, but I'm not sure if this particular kind has been done yet. I always use the baby kind myself.

Justme, thank you so much for those handy tips. I'm going to order some lavender oil to keep around the house. With the grandkids around, I try to use natural products in the open. One thing that I have on hand is natural eucalyptus oil that a friend of mine introduced me to. I'll mix it with warm water to make a gargle to soothe a sore throat.

PartyLite sells a great Reed Diffuser with a scent called "Unwind". It has lavender scent in it. I keep it in the bedroom so as soon as I walk in, I feel relaxed. PartyLite also sells a "Unwind" Bath Creme.
I love it.

I have this problem also,i use lavander body wash in the shower*for a bath try some bath soaps,they are great!* i also use the baby lavander and camomil*sp*milk lotion.you can also try the automatic spraying air freshner.
