As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb [1] of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.

...so also you do not know the spirit that departs from the flesh and bones of the body, at the end of a life, thus rendering it (the body), a corpse.
Sorry, but the verse is no longer wonderful, with this sort of finishing, I confess. Maybe, some other answerers on this forum will give the desired, "wonderful" answers...

I have read the Bible through several times and I do not recognize this "verse ?" as being from scripture. I have several different versions also and it just doesn't fit.
Where did you get this statement? It is a mixture of several verses in the Holy Bible, but no complete thought or statement.
Check your sources. Or do you know from whence it comes and it is maybe from some other religion's book(s) that is not Bible?
