I believe it is Rick Warren..
A bit about what he does:
As a global strategist , Dr. Warren advises leaders in the public, private, and faith sectors on leadership development, poverty, health, education, and faith in culture. He has been invited to speak at the United Nations, the World Economic Forum in Davos, the African Union

Rick gives away most of his money, and lives on just what he needs...His book saved the woman in Atlanta from a Killer on the run... People like Rick, Billy Graham, Charles Stanley are why we should always be proud to be a part of a faith that offers so much with a belief in Jesus Christ.

Do you agree?.

I would Say the Rev Billy Graham he has been the spiritual adviser of every President either Democrat or Republican since Johnson. That is an amazing record of influence. Once Graham passes it is between his son Franklin, Rev Warren and Joel Olsten

Although she wasn't a spiritual leader, I'd say that Madelyne Murray O'Hare was a very powerful influence on both the political and religious front in this nation back in the 70s and 80s. We're talking about the woman who had organized prayer removed from the public school system because it was unconstitutional. What a huge step!!!

I fully believe what she did was right and necessary and we as atheists need to continue her mission.

Have to agree with Justsyd. Most of the people considered "leaders" aren't very spiritual, or at least don't exhibit a spirituality that is particularly kind, compassionate or loving. And few Americans notable for their spirituality have any influence beyond our shores . . . for which we can probably be thankful!

As for people...I would go with Billy Graham, first...then Charles Stanley. Rick Warren is the most recent and I can appreciate the glory he gives to God.

Peace be with you.

For the past 50+ years it has been Billy Graham; he is the only spiritual leader in my life time that (as far as I know) has not stepped on his toes, or proved himself a hypocrite.

I believe the most influential Spiritual Leader is the Holy Spirit of God, the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
No man or woman can be followed, or revered any higher.

Neale Donald Walsch. He is a spiritual author and very inspiring. Some may not consider him a "leader" per se, but the millions who have read his book would think he is, myself included.
