Did they give you automatic citizenship? here in texas, when a child is pick up by CPS, and they are illegal, they are given citizenship....I am not sure they can do that.....Unless it was shown that you were abused.....Sorry about your situation....

I am so sorry. I saw in the news where someone had said there is nothing stopping people from taking their kids back with them when they get deported. That is a load of crap. How old are you now? American thinks all problems with children should be dealt with by CPS. Sometimes that just makes a bad situation worse.

Though I'm sure it occassionally does save a child from a genuinely abusive household, CPS is still an abomination that breaks up families. Parents are responsible for thier children, not the state.

Is CPS court ordered state custody/foster care? If so, you may quallify for special immigrant juvenile status. If you have not aged out of custody and there is a social worker assigned to your case, he or she SHOULD be pursuing this.

You don't need to be adopted, it's for kids in foster care or guardianship arrangements. I have adopted three children from state custody myself so my heart goes out to you. Do look into Special Immigrant Juvenile status.

My god, shame on those posting simple-minded nasty political comments to a child who has lost his family. Nevermind that he can likely LEGALLY immigrate, what American would speak to a child, ANY child this way?

What is CPS?
If they were here "Illegally" than good riddance. Now whats your deal?Go back and make a good life with them i know you can do it.If you like what we have here than change your situation in your families country. Our for fathers did it so can you.Oh and as a side note if there weren't so many illegal aliens here ,it would be easier for honest folk to get visas and work status to come here.So if you want to be legitimate than help us to stop the illegals so we cant help others to get here.
