If it's legal immigration, I'm 100% perfectly A-Okay with it. I encourage it.
But jumping fences, not paying taxes and burdening the very system they desire to the point of bankruptcy is what I HATE!

Legal immigration is great.
************
In response to your second question, well, it's a simple issue that has been made complex. It's about the cold hard cash that corps and politicians make off illegal immigrants and letting them remain. It may be costly to remove them, but the long term effect of removing them will be quite beneficial to this country, as long as we secure all borders and keep tabs of all people here on visa's.
I work for a company that sells electronic components and the government is a big customer of ours. I know how much money they waste by purchasing a part at a certain price, letting it sit for a while, selling it at a fraction and then buying it back at a much higher price then they initially purchased it for; and this is just electronic components. Maybe if the govt would watch it's spending more we wouldn't be so worried about the cost to remove illegals.
No to mention the lobbyists and special interest groups that 'donate' to politicians favorite 'charities' when requesting certain laws be ignored, changed, removed or established.
It's because too many things that our founding fathers were running from have shown back up again, just in a different suit. Instead of the church running the government, it's the corporations.

I love the idea of immigration. Legal immigration. I welcome people of any race, religion, nationality, etc. That's what we're built on.
But, I have a real problem with the illegal situation, it is wrong for them to think they are better than the law, and to come here ahead of the others that are doing it the right way and waiting.
We have had immigration laws since the creation of the U.S. and the inception of the Constitution. My family came the right way, and I expect the same of everyone else.

Personally, I feel that 300million people in this country is enough of a population. The Government thinks a billion is better. No joke.
We don't need more people to keep our economy going, we need the people here to work and do good honest business with the rest of the world. Also we need the children of immigrants to grow up here and to acclimate to being American.
What is going on is a peace-full invasion, but an invasion none the less. That also costs the working tax-payers billions.

Everyone talks about illegal immigrants taking away from "Americans," but in truth we talk away from them. We take away there respect, dignity, positive attitidue towards other ethnicities, money and most of all the right to live a free life. So many people complain about illegal immigrants but yet they hire them and want them to serve them.
So my question would be if we did not allow immgrants over all who would pick the fruits and vegatable from the fields. Because from i can see light colored people burn/tan easily and complain, have allergies, have back pains or cramps and call in sick. because they have the money to do so, ye what would the import and export industries do. Majoirty of immigrants ar hard working people. That is one example of many possible in every industry.
They PAY taxes. For those who chose to be ignortant, so be it. But just know illegal immgrants do pay taxes even though they do not have a social security. They are given a number.

I'm all for immigration BUT it should be done legally so we can immunize them coming in and they should learn English, we shouldn't be expected to learn their languages. All these illegals take priority over citizens without insurance at the hospital. That is not right.

Legal immigration is fine. I have a problem with people who have no respect for our laws and come here illegally.

I'm all for legal immigration, and for expanding the number of legal, citizenship-track, immigrants we accept each year from around the world.
I am against illegal immigration, and dead-set against Amnesty of any kind - such as the current 'reform' bill.

If you're illegal then you should be free game for deportation or getting shot.
As for legal immigration, I'd say one family of 4 per year. Handle it like a lottery. I'm tired of us taking the tired, oppressed, huddled masses and then having their culture shoved down our throat. This is America. Translation: English. Budweiser. Apple Pie. Christmas. Ford trucks. John Deere tractors. Guns.
Call me a redneck if you will, but America wasn't founded by a bunch of Lilly livered panty wastes from France.

Its all politics. Most politicians wont don anything to jeopardize there own careers. If they vote against Illegal immigrants they could lose votes from certain ethnic blocs. It boils down to your representative honors the needs of criminals and illegals more than the born citizens of this country . I say its time for a revolution to oust the elected officials that view themselves as being better than the rest of us and view their job as being more important than you and me .To them we don't matter because they don't think we can do anything about it. VIVA LE'REVOLUTION :)
