If this is your first tattoo, I wouldn't go the very visible route. A tattoo you can show people when you want to may be better for your first.

Personally I would like to get a wrist tattoo. If this is your first tattoo I wouldn't get it done on the wrist though because it is very painful on the areas that don't have much meat on them. The heart on the pinky sounds really cool too. I pick the wrist it seems like a good place for a tattoo if you can handle the pain.

what i did was first got a henna in the place where i wanted the tattoo just to make sure that it would look good there and that i liked it--you can also draw it in the spot and see how it looks whichever works for you--the only one i didnt do that with was the one on my back- i couldnt see it--lol

i think the wrist or ankle would last longer than the pinkie and i think it being on the pinkie would hurt because its such a small work space

Just remember getting a tattoo should always have personal meaning. Placement of a tattoo should always be at your discretion but still be aware that many people still frown upon tattoos (ex.office environment). I have several that I cover up when working but are easy show off when out of the office. I personally would avoid wrist or pinky. Your life...your decision. Best wishes

I'd go with he wrist. Tattooing the fingers is painful, plus the ink has less chance of coming out bright and colorful. If this is your first tattoo then I would propose that you get the treble clef on your ankle. I am heavily tattooed and I think that there are too many people who could have planned a little better on their tats, myself included. The ankle area will be less painful and less noticeable.

BTW, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

If you are right-handed, the small heart on your right pinkie will do. People will notice it more than the other choice of placing it inside your left wrist. I just hope you'd not change your mind someday and erase it. Advanced happy birthday!

Make sure you choose something you will love forever. Ankle is more painful (though nowhere is pain free!).
I use a great website where you can buy designs and transfer paper. You can use the transfer paper to make temporary tattoos, you can then try each possibility and see how they look before committing to ink.

Henna is a perfect idea.Trust me though, ask yourself if you really want to have a tattoo that visible if you ever plan to work in mainstream employment.I'm not knocking anyone that does, but it tends to be classless looking for a job and to be taken seriously.Mine are in places that can be covered by a suit.Remember that.

Ankle. I assume you are into music or play so the trebblecleft is something that really means something to you. Plus the ankle can be hidden if you want/need to. That's where I got my first tattoo and have never regretted it.
