It's different...I like the regular tattoos better though personally...
If you have a good artist too, it's pretty amazing what effects they can do....

Hm, I don't think it sounds too safe. They are pumping fillers into the skin for that raised effect. This filler is listed as essentially sugar.
It doesn't look like there is any long term testing done with this technique. The tattoos look cool, but if I were getting this done, I would wait a couple of years to see what they end up looking like...

The pic is still not working, but I am heavily tattooed and I see no need for 3D ink. If the artist is good enough then he/she can create the appearance of 3D. Just check out Guy Atchison of Hyperspace Tattoo.

Eh, it just seems like something else that could go horribly wrong. Somebody inexperienced that can inject it too shallow or worse, too deep. Or they will inject in the wrong place and you will have a raised lump next to your tattoo, instead of your tattoo being raised. I'll stick to my flat tattoos.

It makes me think of another way to do branding, without the pain of that mod technique. I suppose the advantage is that you can work it into an existing tattoo.
Eh. People may like it, it might even be safe, but I think I like mine the way they are.

my tatts (7) tend to raise during the summer - it is the bodies way of trying to reject the ink so I have my own 3 d raised tattoos...

my tattoo on my arm is raised but thats just from multiple colorings creating deep scar tissue. i'd not try to do it on purpose.

Any site that calls them "tattoo's" seems just a wee bit shoddy to me.

it's not something that i find appealing and it's not the tattoo that is 3D but rather having something injected into your skin. it just seems odd. i'll stick with my flat inked skin.
