The salary varies if in private practice, working for a hospital, under contract, etc. $100 an hour is a low ball park figure.

A consultant psychiatrist who works purely for the NHS earns £70,000 to around £94,000 basic, depending on years of service. Locally awarded CEAs add between £33,000 and £72,000 to this.

mine is 160 per hour. Typically the average salary ranges btwn 100k and 200k. Its a nice sum but Idont know how much they pay for malpractice.

The last one my ex used charged $185 an hour.
