It depends on the time of year and the country to which you are visiting! In the winter, the darker ales and lagers are great such as Guiness or Murphy's. In the fall, the Sam Adams Octoberfest and the local brewed pumkin ales are the best. In the early spring, there is nothing better than an Irish Lager. In the summer, you have got to try a or Hefeweizzen local brewed or a light wheat beer with a lemon or lime such as a Bud light or a Corona!
Also, the Best Beers to drink are those from the country in which you are visiting. If you are in the norhtern U.S., Sam Adams is top notch. If you are in the Southwest, near Mexico, Corono is great. In Mexico, it is Dos Equis. In England, Strongbow Cider is outstanding. The beers get better all over.

Ok I think finding the best beer depends on a person. Some like lite beer , some dark, some like local breweries, I've tried many types of beer in a few different countries and my favorite is Heineken.

Well I have just turned 21, but the nicer beers that are still affordable that my friends seem to like are Magic Hat, UFO, Corona (with lime), Labatt's Blue, Long Trail, Blue Moon (a whole wheat beer), Samuel Adams, and Catamount.
I hope that helps a little! :)

Belgian ales are very good, my fav is Chimay blue. There's plenty of great English ales also like Hobgoblin. But you've probably noticed by reading all these answers that it depends on your own taste so get out there and start tasting and remember you get what you pay for (cheap drink is cheap cause they use cheap ingredients) hope this helps

There's a Beer from the south of Scotland called Black Douglas.
Rich, malty, strong and delicious. Second to none in my book.

The meanest to drink is Old English. I don't know if it is exactly a beer, but it gives you nasty hangovers.
I like Blue Moon.
