There is nothing wrong with your weight for that height, but what do you mean you can't exercise? Of course you can.

As other people have said you are not at all fat considering your height and weight.
There are many ways to lose weight but the recommendation from a medical point of view is to watch what you eat.
Avoiding foods with high calorie intake while on a exercise regime would be effective.
Do not try to lose weight by trying those crazy diets on gossip mags as you might end up not having enough nutrients which may result in stunted growth (since you are 13 you shud b going thru puberty).
Personally i think you dont need to lose any weight but if you really want to lose weight, do it in the correct way without affecting growth and make sure you have enough minerals and vitamins :)

You need protein. Personally I think that an apple is not going to hold you from 10 am ( when your weetabix wears off) to 3:20. If you wait that long till you eat again make it almonds or a nut of your choice instead. You need more REAL food, not that processed stuff. The fruits and veggies, soup and weight watchers is good. Have yogurt or oatmeal with your fruit. You should be eating about 1600 cals a day. Oh, and you should have a healthy carb (whole grain) and a protein (lean meat) after your workout. You need healthy fats daily (olive oil, cheeses, nuts and nut butters), but not around the time you work out.

You cannot be fat/overweight if you're 5'3" & weight 8st 7lb's.
What you COULD be, is flabby though [ I'm not saying you are ] IF that's the case, losing all the weight in the world won't do a thing to improve how you look or feel......try to do some toning exercises to pull yourself up & in, that'll change the way you look & feel about yourself.....
Quite honestly though honey.......unless you've recently lost a lot of weight & spent all your life eating nothing but fatty foods & laying around all day, I seriously doubt that you're flabby at all at your age..........you sound as though maybe you have the classic body distortion syndrome.
I bet there's nothing wrong with you at all, toning exercises will change the way you see yourself as they'll improve your shape & make you feel happier with whom you are....light weights would be fine for you to use & add strength.....

I'm sure you've been told not to be so daft - and that sort of reaction doesn't help Does it?
The fact is that 8st 7lbs for a 13y.o., at 5'3", is not normal, not nowadays. In this age of teenage/child obesity you're positively THIN already!
Good for you. All you really need is a better opinion of yourself, so work on that instead of what you think you see in the mirror. Please don't obsess about being thin, but don't put on too much weight either, (and allow for the fact you're still growing - so you SHOULD get heavier).

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

8 and a half stone certainly doesn't sound fat at all!!! Plus, you're only 13. Your metabolism is still kicking in. Just keep up a moderate level of activity (sports at school etc) and you'll soon notice the difference as you get older.
Don't worry!!

I promise you, you are NOT fat!
You are an 'OK' weight for your height and age, if you went down to 6 stone you would be underweight.
If you really feel that you are 'fat' you should tell someone and get some help as you could be suffering from anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa, both of which are serious mental health issues.

why can't you excersise? everyone can excersise!
so don't give up on that, start with easy stuff, trampolines and walks and then build your way to more harder things.
also, cut out all sugar and most fats [especially saturated fats! their killers!] by cutting out the snacking.
and by the way, 8 stone isn't really a lot for a 13 year, so calm down you're not a desperate cause. if fact you're pretty healthy already!
but if you're intent on losing wieght excersise and healthy food is the way to go!!

corn flakes and fruit, and a square meal of no more than 300 - 500 calories. This should burn some fat off.
Oh, and walk occasionally it's good fat burning excersize for most of the muscles in the body. A.
