im so confused, i just downloaded utorrent today and i downloaded about 10 torrents (movies and tv shows) and theyre going ridiculously slow, whats the normal speed for downloading videos and what can i do to speed it up?

If the icon in the status bar is green, not a red or yellow, then your setup is fine, you're just downloading lousy torrents without too many seeds.
If it is red or yellow, your router is not forwarding ports properly. See portforward.com for details.

If you torrent has one or two "seeders", it might not be particularly fast. You can try the "Speed Guide" in "Options", and see if you connection is set up properly. Also, it might take few moments for the speed to pick up.
