Hi, alcohol can dilate blood vessels. as well as some antidepressants, such as amitriptyline. There are also antihypertensive drugs that dilate blood vessels (such as calcium channel blockers, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, and angiotensin II receptor blockers). The presence of high levels of nitrates also does. If the person suffers from bacterial infection, or is exposed to much heat, or if the person has nerve damage (such as that due to diabetes, amyloidosis, or spinal cord injuries), can also be the cause of dilation of blood vessels.

No, these substances do not dilate so much as they encourage more blood to arrive for processing the glucose for energy.

yeah sugars dialate them
and cold things can too.
everyone is different, but those are a couple causes.
like if you get headaches, it's because the blood vessels in your head are too dialated. I get headaches due to hard cheeses, chocolate, salt, and sugars.
but yeah, everyone is different and sugars do dialate.
