Look at the following verses :
Romans 5:12, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
Matt 9:13 and Matt 12:7
But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.'For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
It is interesting to note that while Paul invents a theology of atonement based on the offering of Jesus as a human sacrifice for sin, Jesus explicitly rejects this doctrine as can be seen from the above verses.
In the Bible, can anyone point to a verse whic shows that Jesus was willing to accept his fate to be sacrificed? Even at the last moment, he cried to God asking why he forsaked him.
Many of the idealogies followed by Christians today are not Jesus' but Pauls'. But Christians Choose to refuse giving useles reasons like, we dont know the scripture, we are reading out of context etc. What makes you 100% sure that you're reading in context?

If you guys wish to prove a point, dont you do the same by picking a verse or two from the Bible? When you guys do it, it is in Context, but, when we do it we are out of context ! It bothers me which Selfish, Self-Centered, Narrow-Mided School you came from !

Technically, the doctrine of Original Sin was first formulated by St. Augustine based on those and other verses.

You really need to understand it all for it to make sense.
Before Adam and Eve partook of the fruit of the forbidden tree, there was no sin on this earth. The punishment was now man would be mortal and would be able to die a temporal death.
Jesus' scripture is saying He came to save the sinners of the world. The healthy do not need a physician.
Original sin is what Adam and Eve's sin was called. So this came from Old Testament times, before Jesus or Paul.

Romans 5:12 doesn't say that we inherited sin, it says that when we do sin death is the consequence. I agree that Paul's writings seem to be different from Jesus' views but there still is no place in the Bible that I have found that say We are responsible for someone else's sin. I think it's Eze chapter 18 that explains it best about who is responsible.

Who came out with the concept of original sin and the "inheritance" of sin ? Jesus or Paul?
Neither - is is a product of man. God does not create a baby just to send it to Hell if it dies before he/she becomes of age.
Paul's words are God's words - Paul spoke as God guided him.
What makes me 100% sure - I've only studied it in detail for over 30 years - the Bible is God's Word - no human has been able to prove otherwise.

What difference does it make -- who first clearly articulated the teaching -- since it was Jesus who personally hand picked Paul to carry on his work?
Do you honestly think that any Christian is going to make a distinction between the teachings of Jesus, and the teaching of either Peter or Paul? (BTW, Peter implies that he considered Paul to be a prophet, and refers to his writings as holy scripture).
Do you actually have a point, or are you just another troll?
====edit====
Example of the concept of original sin in the teaching of Jesus: Luke 13:1-5.
Examples of the concept of the atoning death of Jesus in the teaching of Jesus himself: Matthew 16:21-28; John 10:11-18 & 12:20-33.

The concept of original sin is also clear in John 1 and John 3.
The 'born again' event occurs when you believe; Jesus says people *must* be born again to see the Kingdom of God. Your soul and body remain as-is when conversion occurs but your spirit is recreated. Your progressive salvation on earth into good behaviour though depends on the aid of the Holy Spirit so that your soul is renewed.
In a number of places Jesus says He is going to the cross as a sin sacrifice for men. It might seem that he's saying the pharisees are OK as they are, but in other passages he says people have no life in them unless they partake of his body and blood - i.e. they must rely on his sacrifice to gain the eternal life of God.

"Who came out with the concept of original sin and the "inheritance" of sin?"
God did.
The writers of the Books in the Bible were inspired by God--they didn't "think up stuff to write". And what they wrote is by no means an exhaustive study of the Faith.
Also, there are apparent contradictions in Scripture, which can confuse those who presume to interpret, on their own.
See 2Peter 3:16.

Paul talked about what Jesus did. He was a witness of what God wanted us to know.
How can you save the saved? Jesus went to the sinners to preach to them how to be saved.
Paul only wrote what God inspired him to write. He didn't invent anything.
When Adam sinned he stopped being perfect...so he passed his imperfection to all of his offspring. He sinned so we were all born into that sin.
Jesus death bought us back from Adams sin.
