That is an awfully big and important thing to keep it a secret. But before you tell her think about these:
- What would you do if she doesn't care at all?
- What would you do if she cares but can't love you?
- What would you do if she can love you back?

If you answer at least "I'll be fine" to every question, you should probably tell her.

If you truly love her, respect her decision, and... so that you may always remember the way true love feels... don't let any outcome make you miserable.

Someday, when you are 21 and she is 24 that won't be a huge age difference but at 13 and 16 it is. You need to think of her not thinking about you as being a bad thing about you. She is 16. She has other things on her mind like driving and dating. In several years the age difference won't be too big. It's a natural thing to like someone older than you. I bet there are tons of 13 and 14 year old girls who would love to be with you. You could always go with them until you get in high school or something. Good luck, hun!

I don't know that I would say that I am deeply in love with someone at the age of 13. You have your whole life ahead of you and things change all of the time. I can understand where she is coming from as well with the age difference. It is not a big deal once people are grown up but how would you feel not being able to drive over and pick up your girlfriend for a date. She is in a different time in her life at the moment. You need to just grow up a bit and then see where life takes you. I would say a friendship is all she wants. If you are really upset, you do need to be honest with her. You need to tell her you are in love with her if you really are.

13 to 16 is a really big age difference. I think you should move on and forget about her. Maybe when you are both older things will work out, but right now you would only end up getting really hurt. You are so young and have a life full of loves to look forward to, so don't get hung up on this one.

If is meant to be it will be. More than likely she's going to date guys either her age or older. Let her go in order for her to seek what she is seeking, but you can always tell her that you are here for her as a friend, so she will remain close to you.
I know you've probably heard this but you are too young for anything serious, girls can be so complex at times and trust me you don't want the headaches or your feelings up and down like a rollercoster. Sometimes being a close friend has it perks; they have girlfriends. Good luck!

um..sorry to burst your bubble but this love your're seeking from this chick might never happen. you're 13 and she's 16. Girls already have a hard time dealing with boys their age because of the maturity issue..much less to hook up with someone 3yrs younger than them. Dude just find someone on your level okay. She dosen't want to rock that cradle or however that term goes. She's not even remotely interested probably she's busy checking out your 21 yr brother. sorry :-(

Time to move on mate. Plenty more fish in the sea, play hard to get, if you have any chance in the world, let her get you. I have to say though, I would say there is no chance. I know you are 13, your hormones are kicking in, you've just grown a dick, your heart is easier to take than an ice cream from a spastic, but hold on to it and don't let people hurt it or take advantage.

Keep letting the friend tell her that you like this girl and soon she'll let you know her true feelings. It may just be an age difference for now and you may have to wait a few years.

Deeply in love at 13? I doubt it's love....probably more like a big crush. Also, I don't think a 16 yr old girl should date a 13 yr old boy.

Honey, you should wait for three more years until you're 18 at least. She is 18 and can get in trouble for dating you if you guys do anything that could create a new life. It's called statutory rape, and even if you were willing because you are under age she can get in serious trouble with the law. Especially if your mom or dad get mad and press charges for it.
